The challenge
The challenge was to design a tool capable of withstanding the extreme conditions of molten aluminum injection. Impeccable thermal management was required to guarantee stable production cycles, alongside a robust mechanical design allowing the demolding of complex geometries without compromising the mold's long-term structural integrity.
The solution
An advanced tooling engineering project was developed using materials with high thermal conductivity and wear resistance. The solution included an optimized cooling system and high-precision slides to facilitate part extraction, ensuring high repeatability and surface quality in every shot.
