Injection simulations to evaluate and mitigate warpage in plastic radiator components.
The challenge
A radiator manufacturer needed to evaluate potential deformations in their plastic components before mass production. The challenge was to identify critical warpage points that could compromise assembly or radiator efficiency, requiring deep technical analysis of material behavior under injection conditions.
The solution
Several advanced injection simulations were conducted to analyze the general deformations of the part. This study allowed for the detection of geometric anomalies and the proposal of preventive adjustments in both the injection process and the production tool design, ensuring the dimensional stability of the components.
